Purpose is not just reserved for those fighting fires and curing cancer. While those careers may have an obvious purpose, it does not mean that there is any less value in a homemaker, a kindergarten teacher or a trash collector showing up in their roles. Do not discredit your position or your place of work. Instead find the purpose (large or small) for all you do. Maybe it’s only for a season. Maybe it’s for you to learn a bigger lesson. The truth is there is probably plenty of purpose in it. Who will find it if not you?
